In honour of Black History Month, we’re celebrating the beauty of Afro-Caribbean heritage.

‘This month is a very special month. In the month of October, we celebrate Black History. I wanted us to remember and embrace the beauty and heritage of our hair. Before Africa and the Caribbean were exposed to westernisation,  we didn't know anything about weaves or wigs ….not even a  blow dryer, the beautiful sunshine would just dry our hair naturally. We would twist our hair into knots and plait it using natural ingredients. Cornrows were also used as a way to style our hair. Another popular styling method was to use really thick wool to wrap around our natural hair to stimulate hair growth. Queens would braid their hair and add beautiful jewellery to embellish their crown. My beautiful Queens, R.C HAIR SOLUTIONS  celebrates you.
